About the Copa America

The Copa America is one of the most prestigious international football tournaments in the world. It is contested by the national teams of South America, and is held every four years. The first Copa America was held in 1916, and the most recent tournament was held in 2021. Argentina is the most successful team in Copa America history, with 15 titles.

2024 Copa America

The 2024 Copa America will be the 47th edition of the tournament. It will be held in the United States for the first time. The tournament will feature 16 teams, including all 10 South American nations plus six invited teams from North and Central America and the Caribbean. The tournament will be played from June 14 to July 14, 2024.

Schedule

The schedule for the 2024 Copa America has not yet been released. However, the tournament will likely follow a similar format to previous editions. The teams will be divided into four groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage. The knockout stage will consist of quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final.

The 16 teams that will participate in the 2024 Copa America have not yet been announced. However, the following teams are expected to qualify:
