The Rock is nearly unrecognizable in the first look at his upcoming A24 drama The Smashing Machine.
The Smashing Machine is an upcoming American biographical sports drama directed by Benny Safdie. The film is a biopic about Mark Kerr, a former wrestler and mixed martial artist. Dwayne Johnson is set to star as Kerr in the film.
A24 recently released the first look at Johnson in character as Kerr. The image shows Johnson with a shaved head and a goatee. He is also wearing a black tank top and shorts. Johnson is nearly unrecognizable in the photo, which has generated a lot of buzz online.
The Smashing Machine does not yet have a release date. However, it is expected to be released sometime in 2023.
