The film is directed by Benny Safdie of Uncut Gems fame and stars Johnson as Mark Kerr, a legendary mixed martial artist who struggled with addiction and personal demons throughout his career.

In the first look image, Johnson is seen with a shaved head and a goatee, a far cry from his usual clean-cut appearance.
